What is PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment utilizes injections of your own platelets and plasma to promote healing in a specific area. PRP consists of two elements: platelets and plasma. During PRP treatments, your own blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to remove the red blood cells. The platelet-rich plasma is then retrieved and re-injected back into the treatment area. PRP can be used for hair regeneration and skin rejuvenation.
